The new Blackberry Curve 8320 from T-Mobile has a little bit of everything. First off, I want to say that Blackberry is no longer for just business email enthusiast. Some of the newest Blackberry phones offer a wide range of multimedia programs and services. When unboxing the 8320 the first thing that struck me is how small it actually is. The phones measures:
Height: 4.2″
Width: 2.4″
Depth: .6″
The phone fits amazingly well in your hand. While it is small, the layout of the keys and pearl (trackball) make it very easy to type quickly and navigate easily. I have not has any issues with miss pressing keys when typing a quick sms. The keyboard is full QWERTY style with 2 items per key. The only negative I found on the keyboard was that the alt (shift) button is a bit small and makes it hard to type numbers but this is something every user will get use to after just a few days use.

The trackball navigation was originally adapted in the Blackberry Pearl but has since become the standard on most new models. Being a previous longtime user of the old click wheel, I find the trackball to be a nice change. It makes it much easier to navigate some of the more advanced programs (BB Maps and Google Maps Mobile.)
The in phone program package is very good on this phone. Some of the programs I have found useful so far are the Calculator, BB Maps, Instant Messenger (which works will all major online IM clients), Alarm Clock, and Media Manager. Another positive is that BB has all its phones open to easily install a wide range of third party programs. Google offers a wide range of mobile services (Gmail, Search, Youtube.) There are also many websites that offer free BB software. There are programs for everything, Stocks, Weather, Sports Scores, News, … Some of these third party apps are better then others so do your research. I recommend visiting Blackberry Forums where you can discuss any and everything Blackberry.
The 8320 offers a brand new never before seen feature that no other Blackberry has to offer. The New Blackberry 8320 offers Wi-Fi. Well that is not that special you might say but this is one of the first phones to offer T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling. Yes that is right, this phone can make Wi-Fi calls. If your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the 8320 will automatically start making calls over the network instead of the cell tower. This will allow people to save lots of minutes as well as allow access to making calls on your phone when you have no reception. I have personally played with the feature and it seems to work perfectly. The Wi-Fi also comes in handy when you want to check a quick movie time or sports score on the mobile browser and high speed.

- Speakerphone - Put down the phone and keep talking with a convenient speakerphone.
The 2.0 mega pixel camera takes beautiful pictures that can be clearly on a larger computer screen. Below is some pictures I took with my Blackberry 8320:

Altogether, this phone is great. While the 8320 does not offer built in GPS you can buy a Bluetooth GPS puck that will work with the phone to give you turn by turn directions via BB Maps, or a wide range of third party apps.
I highly recommend this phone to business or non business consumers. While it still has the world famous BB email and messaging capabilities, the BB 8320 has so much more to offer beyond the software that made it famous many years ago.
