Rocko meets American Idol
Thursday night me and Rocko we just chillin after a night out. He gets on the net and I start to cook it up, my famous Quesadillas. Rocko gets an instant message from local Houston DJ and Prouducer Mark Q. to check out this link. Rocko clicks and goes, “whoa come check this out” and we’re like “whoa!!! Lets remix this, now!!!”. The link Rocko went to was a YouTube video of recent American Idol Audition contestant - Renaldo Lapuz.
Renaldo Lapuz share common interests and characteristics with your fellow MiddleMan Rocko. They are both of Filipino decent, both love music, both musically gifted, both humble and they both believe in the MMA motto - Show Humility, Do the Actions, then get Respect.
Rocko was a bit inspired by Renaldo. So he got to work, went into his network and contacted all producers. Mind you not this was at 4am. No one responded until later that morning. Mark Q stepped to the table and broke it with this fresh beat. Big ups!! Quizon on the promptness. Rocko got his lyrics together and mixed it up with local Houston producer Potential from Killing Time Productions.
We had the idea (the Renaldo video), came up with a concept (to make a song), went into the network and got a producer, did the actions (mixed/created track) and it all equaled to what we have now Rocko - We’re Brothers Forever remix. ft. Renaldo Lapuz
